Haley interviews Lauren Conrad (part one)

Lauren Conrad is a very fashionable force to be reckoned with. You may know LC from the popular show the Hills, but as of recently you’ve most likely seen some of her beautiful designs for her clothing line Paper Crown, (which is an indulge worthy collection for those “who like to play dress up in a grown up world”), read one of her super juicy novels in her LA Candy series, or simply indulged in some very handy lifestyle tips from her website LaurenConrad.com or her personal fashion bible, Style.
She’s super sweet, super fashionable, and super down to earth, so what woman wouldn’t want to indulge in some major Conrad! I had the pleasure to ask LC some of my questions and I couldn’t wait to share my interview with all of you. Here is part one of my interview with LC.
fashion dish: Who is your style inspiration?
Lauren Conrad: I am inspired by all things around me. Colors in nature, inspirations and concepts I see editorially. Some of my travels. All things around me.
fashion dish: How would you describe your style?
Lauren Conrad: I like to say I am casual chic and modern. I like items that can take you from day to night. from work to a night out. Things that are versatile.
fashion dish: What is your favorite thing you own in your closet?
Lauren Conrad: I don’t think I could eve choose just one, but I do love comfy sweaters.
fashion dish: What is your favorite outfit?
Lauren Conrad: Jeans, heels, a cute top, and a boyfriend blazer.
fashion dish: What can you not leave the house without?
Lauren Conrad: My blackberry.
fashion dish: When did your love for designing clothes come about?
Lauren Conrad: From a very early age playing with my dolls

Lauren Conrad: I like to base the line on romantic and vintage inspirations with a modern twist
