Here’s part two of my interview with Jean Pigozzi owner of LimoLand! Below he dishes on the brand, his wardrobe must haves, and more.

HS: What inspires you on a daily basis?

JP: Every day I try to walk on the street for an hour or two. This always inspires new ideas for me, not only from the clothes that people wear, but also the paintings I see in galleries or colors and shapes that I see on the street or when I am in the forest in Panama.

HS: Where is your favorite place to travel and does that also lend inspiration to your collection?

JP: I have been traveling all over the world all of my life and I now spend a lot of time on my island in Panama, which has been an incredible source of inspiration for me.

HS: LimoLand is a very popular brand and has been featured in such fashion tombs as Vogue. Are you surprised by its success?

JP: I am happily surprised by LimoLand’s success, but I feel that my completely out of the box approach to fashion has helped make LimoLand stand out from many other brands. Also, my use of color is quite particular.

HS: What is your go to wardrobe item?

JP: My uniform is usually a brightly colored LimoLand polo shirt, and obviously when I am at the beach it is one of my fun LimoLand bathing suits.

HS: Any last thoughts?

JP: What I want to bring with LimoLand is color and happiness to a world that is sometimes a bit too gray in my eyes
