I’ve loved Easter since I was a kid. I loved waking up in the morning, collecting candy with my brothers, and opening a fun basket. Though I’ve grownup these childhood traditions continue, so yesterday morning started with some sweet treats from my mom. I love Vosges chocolate and was delighted to get a special bag full of treats including some favorites like the peanut butter eggs and caramels. I’m also a huge fan of the salted peanut butter, it’s a delicious salty and sweet combination. Of course I also received the holiday staples like Reese’s peanut butter eggs and multicolored chocolate eggs.
I had Easter brunch with a girlfriend in the Village at a fun restaurant with delicious breakfast foods and an outdoor garden where we sat and enjoyed the beautiful spring weather. I decided to dress casually for the holiday in leggings, a graphic Zoe Karssen tank, and boots. She had the waffles and I had eggs with sun dried tomatoes and goat cheese. It was the perfect Easter afternoon and after a few late nights just what I needed to relax for a chaotic week ahead.
