let’s get intimate

by haley sherif

Today, as I was wandering the streets of SOHO, a gorgeous window display caught   my eye. From its beautiful craftsmanship to the soft pastel colors, this shop was hard to miss even to those scurrying down the street. I couldn’t help but realize that this type of clothing is hardly discussed on blogs, yet essentially important to have in a woman’s closet.

Yes readers, its time to get down and dirty and talk about what’s hardly talked about, not because its politically incorrect, but because its use always stems from a private matter and probably a juicy story, and with that my friends, begins my post on lady’s intimates.

Now everyone has bras and underwear that is an utmost duh! But what many don’t recognize is the beauty that goes alongside this type of fashion, and the effort it takes to put out and create these glorious collections. Many can argue that this is a topic that hardly can be considered “fashion”, even though many forget that every woman on this planet owns her own sexy pair!

So, with this in mind, I am going to help add to your collection by introducing, or re-acquainting, many of you with some fabulous designers of all price ranges. The goal of intimates is to not only look sexy, but to also enhance your body type. I went around an office asking women of all shapes and sizes what type of clothes made them feel sexiest. Their answer? Lingerie.

To begin to understand the art of lingerie, one must know where to shop, and what to purchase. For those who are able to indulge a little when it comes to this topic, the brands La Perla, Kiki de Montparnasse, and Cosabella should be the place to shop. Each piece is literally a handcrafted work of art that will show off your body in the best ways possible.

Now, fret not frugal shoppers, you can look sexy regardless of your price range. Designers such as Calvin Klein, Hanky Panky, and Victoria Secret craft affordable pieces that allow the masses of women to feel equally as sexy without emptying your bank account.
