down to a t(ee)

Anyone who knows me well, or actually sees me on a weekly basis, knows that t-shirts are an enormous part of my daily wardrobe. Whether paired with Nike spin pants (90 percent of the time), a silk skirt, with a pair of skinnies, the list goes on, t-shirts are a definite must. When I find a tee that fits I have to first have one in all the neutral colors and then purchase additional in white since I happen to wear white tees the most and wear them out all the time.

VINTAGE SLUB POCKET TEE

I’ve been in search of some new favorite tees to cycle in since the ones I love from Vince are now retired to be worn to bed, and bed only! On Sunday I decided to wander around SoHo and checked out James Perse. I’m so happy that I did! Known to have a wide range of t-shirts it’s the perfect one stop shop for all layering essentials including tank tops, long sleeve shirts, lighter knits etc.

CASUAL TEE

Since I don’t like tees that fit too snugly and like more of a box fit, I went for the largest sizes, a 3 or 4, sizing up is definitely key! I purchased a bunch of fantastic t-shirts, some with pockets and others without, in a bunch of colors, as well as a comfortable sweatshirt and sweater. When it doubt keep it simple and a tee if the perfect way to do that, xo.
