Sometimes I feel like I’m the queen of the t-shirt. Whether I’m out doing errands, having coffee with a friend, or catching up on some sleep I’m wearing a tee. I have favorites of course including some soft Vince t-shirts I grabbed up last summer, but I’m always open to adding some new ones to my wardrobe.

A few months ago I went shopping at Ludivine , a cute boutique with locations in the village and the Upper East Side, and picked up quiet a few items including great cardigans, dresses, a cool maxi skirt, and a great oversized tank by Zoe Karssen. The Karssen tank is perfect for it has just the right amount of comfort, but is a versatile piece in that it can be dressed both up and down.

The vintage, worn out look of the tee adds a fun factor too. Though I hadn’t found the occasion to style it just yet, last night provided the ultimate opportunity. I was still excited about the major maxi skirt I wore Monday, (also from Ludivine), so I decided to wear it again, but this time a bit differently.

This time I swapped the blouse for the oversized tank by Zoe Karssen. I added a pair of black gladiators for more of a rock and roll vibe and carried along a blue and beige striped quarter sleeve sweater from Chinti and Parker. It made for the ultimate last night out look.

Though I’ve had a fantastic time on vacation with family I’m headed home this afternoon. It’s true what they say there’s no place like home, especially when home is New York City, xo
